The City of Adak hosts the Adak Public Library at City Hall. Though we are a very small library we have a number of items that can be checked out (particularly DVDs and Board Games), as well as Internet access. As of June 2023 we now provide patrons public Wi-Fi, please see the librarian on duty for for instructions to access the network. We also have iMac computers with Microsoft Office, Apple office apps (Numbers, Pages, Keynote), Apple XCode, iMovie, printing and scanning available for patrons.
We are in the process of importing all of our items available into our digital library. However you can see some of the items we have available by visiting our online catalog: Adak Online Catalog. For user access (to enable holds for checkout) please visit the library to complete a library card application.
We now offer our patrons access to the Alaska Digital Library. The Alaska Digital Library has a significant number of e-books, audiobooks and periodicals. For credentials please contact us at the City office or the Library.
