Is it true the military is coming back?

Adak is a strategic location in the Western and North Pacific, with the benefit of its prior history as a military installation.  However, at this time, there are no commitments by the United States to locate a military assets or utilize the island for military activities.

Were there nuclear weapons on Adak?

Interestingly enough, we do not have an answer to that question.  From our sources, this is pure speculation.  However, if the rumor is indeed true, the information would be deemed classified information and not subject to release.  Check back around 2047 for an update to the question.
